SAMA WINNERS, BIG NUZ, TO VISIT EASTERN CAPE



Big NUZ will be entertaining crowds at the 20th Castle Lager East Cape Biltong Festival on the 16th – 17th July 2010

It has been confirmed! Popular kwaito group, Big NUZ, will be visiting the Eastern Cape in July. The group, who hails from Durban, will perform at the 20th Castle Lager East Cape Biltong Festival to be held in Somerset East on the 16th – 17th of July 2010.

The trio appeared on the South African music scene in 2006, and has steadily transformed the face of kwaito music in the country, already winning Best Kwaito Song for “Ubala Lolo” at the 2008 Metro FM Awards.

This year, they were nominated for four MTN South African Music Awards. On the night, they walked away with awards for Best Kwaito Album and Album of the Year for their album “Undisputed”. They also won the coveted MTN Record of the Year that is chosen by the people of South Africa. President Jacob Zuma also met with the group and congratulated them on their win, confirming that they are one of the country’s most popular kwaito groups.

Their newest musical offering, and third album, “3rd Round” reached platinum status at the end of December 2009 and has been enjoying airtime on major radio stations around the country.
